Princess Bakery opened its doors on Mission Street in 1982, when the neighborhood was still finding its rhythm and the smell of fresh bread was something neighbors shared on the sidewalk.
What began as a single oven and a dream has grown into a San Francisco landmark — but the philosophy hasn't changed. We still mix our dough by hand. We still source the finest butter, chocolate, and flour. We still treat every customer like a guest in our home.
